Resources

We have created pre-use check sheets for the majority of equipment we train on. It is an employers responsibility to ensure that work equipment, such as lift trucks and elevating work platforms are inspected on a pre-shift or pre-use basis. Our check sheets are designed to include the components that should be inspected in accordance with manufacturers requirements and industry standards.

Using these sheets in accordance with formal operator training will ensure that your operators are doing enough to meet their and your obligations under the PUWER and LOLER Regulations 1998 as well as The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
