These lorry loader crane (commonly referred to as HIAB) training courses are designed for operators of trailer, truck or lorry mounted hydraulic cranes. The courses are compiled to suit novice operators, experienced users and candidates requiring refresher training .
We also conduct conversion courses to enable candidates to move from lever control to remote control operation or from one attachment to another, hook to block/brick grab for example.
The hydraulic lorry loader crane training courses can also cover the use of any other vehicle mounted hydraulic cranes where the stability of the crane is dictated by its stabilisers. The lorry loader crane training programs are suitable for a wide range of industries.
Our ALLMI crane training includes training in the basic setup and operation of the lorry loader crane. Under the ALLMI scheme we can also conduct a Slinger/Signaller training course that covers the selection, inspection and correct use of webbing and chain slings as well as other lifting equipment in general use such as shackles and eyebolts as well as specific attachments:
Our ALLMI training courses are conducted on customer premises using customer equipment although we can cater for your training at our training centre if you want to bring your lorry to us. The ALLMI courses we offer are eligible for funding.
Our vehicle mounted crane training courses are accredited by ALLMI and are recognised by the Construction Industry as meeting the standards required for the CSCS scheme.
Additionally commercial drivers can use their ALLMI crane training towards their CPC requirements.
Our ALLMI lorry loader crane training courses cover the following areas:
At the end of the course each candidate receives an ALLMI Lorry Loader Crane operators certificate of training and ALLMI Operators Card which are valid for a period of 5 years.
In addition to the basic ALLMI crane training we can also cover ALLMI slinger/signaller training using general items of lifting equipment in use:
