These sea crane (HIAB on a boat) training courses are designed for operators of ship, vessel, deck, barge or pedestal mounted hydraulic cranes.The courses are compiled to suit a maximum of 4 novice operators, experienced users or candidates requiring refresher training. Our sea crane training includes training in the selection, inspection and correct use of wire rope, webbing and chain slings as well as other lifting equipment in general use such as shackles and eyebolts as well as specific attachments:
Our ship mounted crane training courses are accredited by RTITB and are conducted in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Equipment and Lifting Equipment Regualtions) 1998, PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) 1998 and in consultation with the guidelines laid down by LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) as well as the relevant BS7121: Code of Practice for Safe Use of Cranes.

At the end of the course each candidate receives an RTITB Pedestal/Deck Mounted Hydraulic Crane operators certificate of training and RTITB Operators Card.
