Our telehandler conversion courses are perfect for operators who have already been trained to drive a different lift truck and want to learn to drive a telehandler truck.
So if, for example, you already have a Counterbalance or Reach Truck certificate, then you can convert to a telehandler forklift on one of our conversion courses.
Telehandler conversion courses can be conducted at our training centre or on-site at customer premises.
Our telehandler conversion courses are approved by ILA for funding purposes. This means that our RTITB and ITSSAR telehandler conversion courses will require a small candidate contribution when you use an ILA to fund it. Click here to find out how ILA Scotland could help to pay for your telehandler conversion training course.
The courses are typically 2 day courses conducted with a maximum of 3 trainees, however courses can be conducted over a shorter duration with fewer trainees. 1 Trainee can be converted on a 1 day course for example which can be conducted part time over 2 evenings if required.
Our courses are accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR, recognised nationally for Telehandler Refresher Training.
The conversion course is designed to convert your existing operating skills to enable you to learn to operate a telehandler forklift truck.
Our conversion courses cover the following areas:
At the end of the course each candidate receives an RTITB or ITSSAR operators certificate of training and a photographic operators card.
I attended a one day conversion course for a Telehandler. I found the course very informative, set at a good pace and given by a very experienced instructor. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using the company again for any of our training requirements.
