We provide Reach Truck Driver Training at our Training Centre in Cumbernauld, Glasgow and on-site across Scotland.
The Reach Truck is a warehousing truck that gets its name from the fact that it has a mast that reaches out to pick up a load and retracts it over its wheelbase for travel. It operates on a similar principle to the counterbalance but it doesn’t have a counterweight, it relies on the weight of its battery and its chassis to counterbalance the effect of the load being lifted.
All of our forklift courses are approved by ILA for funding purposes.

We can offer 4 different Reach Truck Courses:
Our courses are accredited by RTITB, recognised nationally for Reach Truck Forklift Training.
The Reach Truck we use for training is a Linde R14 which is one of the most common reach truck sizes used in warehousing. It is has a 1400kg lift capacity, is equipped with a 5795mm fixed mast and tilting / side-shifting carriage which combined with our pallet racking and realistically sized UK spec pallets means we can accurately replicate typical warehousing conditions.
