We provide Bendi Forklift Driver Training at our Training Centre in Cumbernauld, Glasgow and on-site across Scotland.
The Bendi or Pivot-Steer Lift Truck to give it the correct lift truck classification is a narrow aisle forklift truck.
It is designed to work in aisles of 1800mm (6 feet) and has a pivoting mast that steers the truck independently of the truck body, hence the classification pivot-steer. It is often referred to as a Bendi or Flexi (The 2 main manufacturers).
Unlike the counterbalance that has 1 counterweight, the Pivot-Steer has two, one to counterweight the truck when the load is lifted to the right of the truck and one to counterweight the truck when the load is lifted to the right.
We can offer 4 different Pivot-Steer Courses:
Our courses are accredited by RTITB, recognised nationally for Bendi Forklift Training.
The Pivot-Steer truck we use for training is a Bendi BN4047 which works in the tightest aisle width: 1800mm (6 Feet). It is has a 1000kg capacity, is equipped with side-shift and with our pallet racking and realistically sized UK spec pallets we can accurately replicate typical warehousing conditions.
